After years of providing community-based services free of charge to the citizens of various communities, Generations Family Services, Inc., was established. Our purpose is to serve communities by bridging the gap between clients and services, and improving and sustaining the quality and well-being of individuals' lives within their established communities. With more than 50 combined years of experience in service to the community through the military, ministry, community outreach, social services, Guardian Ad Litem, Guardianship, Representative Payee, and Case Management (within the healthcare and mental health fields), GFS prides itself on providing the highest quality of service to individuals and families.

As a non-profit charitable organization, GFS provides Representative Payee services under Section 10 of 42 USC 405(j)(4)(A) of the Social Security Act and Federal Fiduciary services under VA Pension and Fiduciary Services; including financial management services for individuals identified by both the Department of Veterans Affairs and Social Security Administration as needing help managing their VA, Social Security, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. GFS also provides the following additional services: working with individuals in needs of assistance managing financial requirements; Guardianship Services for individuals deemed incompetent through the judicial system; and Case Management Services for individuals transitioning from homelessness to independent living or group home placements.
